Really, I highly recommend this if you haven't seen it already.
The animation is great, the concept is interesting, and I just love the suspense. It really makes you eager for the next episode.
Story in short: Ryuk, a shinigami, drops a Death Note in the human world, which is picked up by Yagami Raito. He discovers that, all humans whose names are written in that book, shall die. He then uses it to assassinate all criminals to make a better world. But this hadn't gone by unnoticed. Superdetective L has to figure out by who and how these criminals were killed..
It's pretty hard to choose a side, cause Raito kills with a good purpose. But really, the suspense and all the clever moves make this animé worth watching.
